The angels, in humility
the mighty seraphs and nephilim
tremble on the doorstep
serving one world, then another
singing kadosh, kadosh, kadosh
adonai, tzvaot
the holy one, blessed be he
sitting on his throne
at the nexus of the universe
knower of deeds
surveyor of lands
and minds
and hearts
each and every day
as the sun rises
in his goodness, he renews, constantly
the doings of creation
including you and me.
